Fifth Ward CRC, in its twenty-year history, has had a number of programs and partnerships to
address and support the needs of the surrounding community including partnerships with the residents
and businesses, as well as programs for physical improvements to the community. 5th Ward
experienced decline and disinvestment from 1965-1990, but due primarily to Fifth Ward CRC, is now
seeing a surge in redevelopment, investment and relationship with Fifth Ward CRC in the sponsoring of our programs.
